West Collection Presents the West Prize

The West Prize is an annual international acquisition prize to 10 artists that will receive $125,000 in total awards. The West Prize finalists from each year will have their work documented in a "10" catalog, exhibited at the West Collection in Philadelphia, as well as launched at NEXT.

NEXT Projects

This special section will feature large scale installations by emerging artists including Jeff Carter, Dave and Jenn, Rachel Mason, Angel Otero, Marc Sèguin, and Andrew Witkin.

Goffo

Goffo, a special section at NEXT, focusing on multiples, editions, artist books, prints and handmade objects, will host an exceptional curated selection of presses, artist collectives and small galleries.

New Insight

An exhibition of top MFA students from some of the country's most influential graduate art programs, New Insight is curated by Susanne Ghez, director of the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago.  A platform for new talent and innovative ideas, New Insight provides the opportunity to view work by some of the brightest young minds working in diverse graduate programs across the country.

A representation of artists who have shown at Gallery 400 – highlighting the talented artists working in Chicago and Gallery 400’s history of supporting and presenting artists from the area. Artists include: Philip von Zweck, Carrie Gundersdorf, Danielle Gustafson-Sundell, William Staples, Shane Huffman, and Carol Jackson.
